As school gets started up for another year it is time to think about the many ways that we help out the kids and youth of our community.
September is New Generations month. The new generation of Rotarians is just around the corner. If we do not train the kids and youth of today to volunteer and be active in their community we are missing a golden opportunity to prepare the next generation to take our place as Rotarians. New generations also includes the young Rotarians that we have in our club. We have so much contact with these kids and youth and have a chance to influence them and lead by example.
We are fortunate that our club has two Interact clubs and a Rotaract club that we sponsor. I encourage each club member to look for an opportunity to assist one of the new generations during the month of September.
