Kernersville Rotary BLOG!

PRESIDENT's COLUMN

Ahhh…..September. Crisp cool days and nights. Football games. Kids off to school with new clothes and backpacks. September marks a beginning and an ending. We start to settle into a routine as summer ends and the prospect of winter looms. We start storing up to carry us through winter.

At Kernersville Rotary, our members will begin mentoring children at Cash Elementary, creating relationships that will leave an indelible mark on both the child and the Rotarian. Interact clubs will resume with the leadership of our club members.

For fellowship and building relationships, we have a Family of Rotary event - the East/Glenn football game and tailgate. Fireside Chats with Arnold King will add an opportunity for fellowship and to learn more about our club and its relationship to the International Club.

Kernersville Rotary is settling into a routine. The next big event is the Foundation Night and then the famous Pancake Supper. But we will do an incredible amount of good between now and then. Pay attention as member after member steps up, takes charge, and builds up the club in our mission of Service Above Self as together, we LEAD THE WAY!

You've just got to be proud to be a member of this organization!
