PRESIDENT's
COLUMN
As you now are aware, our Club has secured Gold Club status for Rotary Year 2008/2009, attributed to all of you for your dedication and service to the Club and our projects. Thank you for giving our District Conference attendees and me the honor of accepting your Triple Crown and Gold Club recognitions in front of our District brothers and sisters, in Myrtle Beach, last week.
Ten months down and two months to go in this very successful Rotary year! As we move into this month, we look forward to The Folly, District Assembly, followed very quickly by our Scholastic Banquet and then our Pedal the Piedmont bike event. I hope all of you; especially our newer members are able to participate in this and next month’s important events, both of which will be critical to this year’s budget and next year’s programs.
As we wind down this Rotary year, please reflect on our programs, fund raisers and meetings in general. What are we doing right and where can we improve? Please offer suggestions to your Officers and Board members, anytime that you feel that we can improve. Please join us at our monthly Board meetings, even if it is just to see what goes on. The Rotary Club of Kernersville is your Club and we all will work together to keep it the best in the District and beyond. As always, I am honored to be associated with all of you. You make me very proud!
