One of the greatest pleasures is to be a part of an organization which sets high goals and meets those goals year in and year out. Achievement that is recognized by one's peer groups or organizations as the best. The best of class! The Benchmark! Driving back to Kernersville after accepting the Gold Club Award for the club at the District Conference a review of all the work that our club had done came to mind. It is awesome what concerned individuals can do if they decide to really live "Service above Self".

I wish every member could have been there to help us celebrate. But, as has been mentioned many times over the past years, we in the Rotary Club of Kernersville do not do these things for the awards - we do it because it needs to be done and we are able to do it. Simple enough.

So --- enough basking in the glory. It is time to do The Spring Folly ….The Golf Marathon….The Scholastic Banquet….The Scholarship Awards…and on and on and on.

Thanks to all of you Kernersville Rotarians who work very hard all year round to make Rotary the best service organization in the world.
