PRESIDENT's COLUMN

Congratulations to all of our new Paul Harris Fellows and Benefactors. Your commitment to the Rotary Foundation was exemplified on February 20th, as we became one of only eight Clubs out of 33,000 in the World, to ever achieve the status of "Triple Crown Club”. Please wear your Paul Harris Fellow pins and Benefactor Wings, proudly.

The month of March is officially classified as “Literacy Month” in Rotary. Our efforts with the Pakistan Girl’s School, our Study Buddy program and our spring programs with our High School students, continue to solidify our commitment to education and leadership building.

March will also be a critical month for our fundraising planning. Spring Folly, followed by our Pedal the Piedmont bike event, will require all of us to get geared up to assist our committee chairs in making these events successful .When the calls and volunteer lists circulate, please be prepared to help.

Also don’t forget, our District Conference in Myrtle Beach will be held from April 23rd thru April 26th. Registration is on our website. Several of you are planning to attend and hope many more of you will join us for a fun weekend in April.
