PRESIDENT's
COLUMN
Looking Back!
Here we are…we made it! Another successful Rotary Year is coming to an end. As you know, I began this year as President of your club with a vision for the year. That vision including leaving our club, Kernersville, and the world, better than we found it.
By all accounts we accomplished all of this and much more. From our gift of a new downtown Farmers Market, to a record-setting Pancake Supper fundraiser, to our generous and heartwarming support of the Triad Flight of Honor Project – this has been a year to remember. To quote from Ronald Reagan’s farewell address: “My friends: We did it. We weren't just marking time. We made a difference. We made the city stronger; we made the city freer; and we left her in good hands. All in all, not bad -- not bad at all.”
This is just the first of several opportunities I want to take over the next few weeks to say “Thank You” to each and every one of you who has made this year so special. It has truly been an honor to lead such a fine organization for the past year. Thank you for your support, and for a job well done!
Jason Grubbs
