Kernersville Rotary LEADS THE WAY! As we embark on a new year, with the theme of Lead the Way, our club doesn't have to do anything any differently and we will still be one of the leading clubs in our District. It is because of YOU, the leaders of our community and your commitment to excellence.

By the time these words are printed, we will have raised some money with Brian's (and all his support team) efforts at the 5k Race on the 4th of July. The money will be used to fund scholarships for local students. Jason and Scott (and their mighty helpers) will have commandeered the parade and brought a lot of smiles to the faces in this community. That parade just gives Kernersville a good ole healthy dose of goodwill. We are off to a terrific start in the first week of the club year!

Van Sherrill has been a great leader in the past year, and the Presidents before him have each introduced their own flair to our club. In a way, it is a tough act to follow. On the other hand, the road has been paved, so we should have smooth sailing!

Thanks to all who have committed to taking a leadership role in the club this year. I look forward to what we will accomplish together in this community and beyond.
