PRESIDENT's
COLUMN
I
hope that each of you had a wonderful holiday season! The Rotary year
is already half way over, but there is still much to do and accomplish
in the coming months. We have already had several successful event and
fundraisers, but we cannot stop or slow down. This club has always been
one to do more. With that we must prepare for the upcoming months with
a renew spirit and energy that only this club can. We have Spring Folly
booth to run in May, a golf marathon to put on, and a new project, Pedal
the Piedmont, which must be organized. The District Conference is slated
for the end of April and I would like to see a contingent from the club
to make it to this event. For those that have never been to a District
Conference, I strongly suggest that you look at trying to attend. It showcases
all the accomplishments from District 7690 throughout the year. You will
be amazed at what our district does throughout the year and give you a
chance to meet many other Rotarians from the area.
I
look forward to the second half of the year as we help "Rotary Shares".
Yours
in Rotary,
Brian
