PRESIDENT's COLUMN

I would like to offer an enthusiastic “Welcome” to all of our newly inducted Rotarian’s. I want to thank our members that participated in our New Member Initiative, that to date, has allowed us the opportunity to bring eight new members into our Club, with two more applications currently in circulation for approval.

As you know, April will be a very busy month for our Club. The GSE Team from India will be in town during the first week of April. Many of you are helping as hosts and guides for our guests and I want to thank you for stepping up and hosting our GSE participants.

Additionally, in April, we are preparing for District Conference in Myrtle Beach (April 23 – 26) and Spring Folly, May 1st and 2nd. I hope that you will all pitch in to help us with the Folly (especially new members) and get prepared for Pedal the Piedmont, immediately following the Folly.

As always, I want to thank you all for what you continue to do in our community and how positively you represent our Club. As we come down to June and the end of this Rotary year, it is with a great deal of pride that we all can say that Service Above Self is alive and well in the Rotary Club of Kernersville.

Yours in Rotary,

Mike Shaw
