Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,000 Rotary clubs located in 166 countries.

Scholarships - Have awarded $60,000 in college scholarships to students from East Forsyth and Glenn ($30,000 at each school) The students are selected by the schools and presented to the Rotary review board for selection. Academics, community service, school activities, and other criteria are considered in the selection process.

Since 1947, the Rotary Foundation has awarded more than US$1.1 billion in humanitarian and educational grants, which are initiated and administered by local Rotary clubs and districts. Some 1.2 million Rotarians in 31,000 clubs in more than 166 countries make significant contributions to the quality of life at home and around the globe.
