Thanks, PDG Archi
On behalf of the GSE Team from 7690, Thank you Archi for a wonderful dinner and fellowship last night. We ate at Panorama 85, at the top of Taipei 101, currently the tallest building in the world. The view was incredible of Taipei City and the surrounding area. We had great food and enjoyed the company of our Taiwanese friends from Taoyuan Northwest Rotary Club. We will post pictures soon. Thank you again to all of our Taiwanese friends who have made our journey thus far a great experience.

All,
Glad to read that you all are collecting memories for a lifetime. It has been so wonderful to see that that the team's preparation has prepared you well. Based on the food photos, we all now know why Owen asked each of you at the selection interviews if you were willing to try eating uniquely exquisite cuisine. Enjoy the fellowship and GSE experience to its fullest!

Dear Team: I'm blogging for the first time ever. I do really like this blog and I really appreciate what the Kernersville Rotary club did to create it. It's great! Also I appreciate how hard it is for you all to keep it up to date given the consumption of you time by your hosts and the need to communicate with family and record events in your journal.
We welcomed the Taiwan team on Friday at the airport. After seeing the very large and enthusiastic crowd that met you all at midnight in Taiwan, I'm a little embarrassed that we only had seven people to meet the Taiwan team. Nevertheless they seems very pleased to see us.
They had dinner at O'Henry with the East Greensboro Club on Saturday night.
Just yesterday (Sunday) the team was officially welcomed at a brunch at the O'Henry. This would have been something your team would have participated in had you been here. Tony and several of his fellow students attended - about 7 altogether. Owen told the story of how the connection was made with the Taiwanese students at UNCG and just how important they have been to our team. Team Leader Vincent (Language) spoke for several minutes and was delightful. He told of your welcome and the welcome ceremony and how impressed they all were with your presentation. He did make a little fun of the accent with which someone spoke Mandarin. Nevertheless he said that your presentation was beyond their wildest expectations. The other team members spoke very briefly. The team as I'm sure you heard yourselves all speak perfect English and they all seemed excited and interested in being with us now.
One week has already elapsed for you and I'm sure the other 3 will fly by. Take plenty of photos and record you hosts names and emails so that you can remain connected. It will be valuable to you. Sorry to hear that Abby lost her camera. Go buy a new one right away. Other than the lost/stolen camera, you all seem to be having a great time and representing us here very well. Thank you again and keep up the great work. We are looking forward to seeing you again and hearing your stories in Georgia. It will be fun to reunite with the team from Taiwan.
Take care and best wishes.
